About Free BJJ
Free BJJ is a Seed Of Light initiative created to make Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu accessible to those who face barriers—especially disability and financial hardship.
We believe training is more than sport: it is confidence, discipline, emotional strength, and community.
Why Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu
- Technique over strength.
- Adaptable for different abilities.
- Builds self-control and confidence.
- Teaches calm problem-solving under pressure.
Program
Free BJJ offers free training opportunities aimed at people with disabilities, children, and families. After you submit a request, we follow up with next steps and basic guidelines.
Eligibility
- People with disabilities (all ages).
- Children and youth.
- Families who cannot pay for traditional classes.
Safety and Respect
Safety is non-negotiable. Respect is the culture. Any bullying, unsafe behavior, or disrespect ends participation immediately.
Basic rules
- Follow instructions and communicate limitations.
- Train with care and control.
- Stop immediately if you feel pain or danger.
- Keep the space clean and organized.
Supported by Team Conde
Free BJJ is not a one-person project. From the Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu community perspective, the program is supported by Team Conde, led by Armando Conde, a 7th degree coral belt.
This statement recognizes technical lineage and the training culture of respect and safety. Free BJJ operates as a Seed Of Light community initiative for nonprofit/community purposes.
Request to Join
Submit a request and we will follow up with next steps, basic safety guidelines, and the required documents.
If you have urgent questions, you can also reach Seed Of Light through its official site.
How you can help
Free BJJ grows through community support. If you want to help, here are options:
